I have been involved in health and fitness since 2001 where I started my journey as a personal trainer. I absolutely fell in love with the health and fitness industry, health and fitness industry, and found no greater gratification than to be able to help individuals lead healthier and fitter lives, and thus continued on to graduate from Kikkawa College as a Massage Therapist in 2007, after completing a Kinesiology and Psychology degree at the University of Waterloo in 2005.

I was a Tomboy growing up, and participated in sports such as Rugby and Horseback Ridding and also am an avid weight lifter and boxer/Kick boxer. It is fair to say that I have planted my roots within the Canadian Bodybuilding scene since 2001, having recently obtained my Pro status in several Canadian Bodybuilding federations in 2008.

Since all this training unfortunately almost invariably leads to some type of overuse injury, and also because I have invested a large part of my education on becoming familiar with repetitive strain injury processes and rehabilitation, I am thus fairly well versed on these subjects, and believe I can expediently help you overcome your pain or injury, so you may return to your best game, whether it is in life... or play! (or both!)

I love what I do! I catch myself saying this a few times a month, and almost feel like I belong in a 5 step program, every time I say it, but there simply is no better feeling to me than to be accountable in helping people, achieve their health and wellness goals! It is always a rush to see someone walk away pain free, and take control of their lives, and pride myself in being able to customize a treatment to each person, while making them feel comfortable, safe and relaxed.

Over the last few years, I have experienced working in both clinical and spa settings, which I feel has allowed me to widen my reach as a massage therapist, and has facilitated my ease with several different types/styles of massage treatments, from relaxation to injury prevention or rehabilitation.

I provide massage therapy services to men, women and children of all ages in a clean, professional and quiet environment, and am often nicknamed 'Thumbs of Steel', for my freakish strength and thus specialize in restorative bodywork modalities such as Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Active Release Therapy to provide the most effective rehabilitative Deep Tissue/Sports Treatments possible, but may also provide a soothing touch, ideal for the most relaxing massages ;)

From full body relaxation massage to deep tissue massages or any other specific treatment, I will work with you to make sure that you receive exactly what you are looking for and what your body needs.
